Hello, I’m Helen a qualified Clinical Reflexologist with a Level 5 Practitioner’s Diploma in Clinical Reflexology —the highest level of reflexology training in the UK. As a member of the Association of Reflexologists (AoR), I am dedicated to providing professional, client-centred care and continually developing my skills through ongoing training.
I am passionate about helping people find time to relax, reduce stress, and support their overall wellbeing through reflexology. I believe in treating each client as an individual and tailoring every session to their specific needs. Alongside my private practice, I have been proud to volunteer at University College London Hospitals (UCLH), where I have provided reflexology sessions to hospital staff. These treatments offer healthcare professionals an opportunity to take time out from the demands of their roles, helping to promote relaxation, reduce stress, and support their overall wellbeing. This experience has reinforced my passion for providing compassionate, client-centred care and supporting people in maintaining their physical and emotional wellbeing.

Reflexology is a gentle, non-invasive complementary therapy that involves applying pressure to specific reflex points on the feet. These reflexes correspond to different areas and systems of the body and, according to reflexology theory, working these points may help encourage balance and support the body’s natural healing processes.
Many clients choose reflexology to help them relax, manage stress, and improve their overall sense of wellbeing. Treatments provide an opportunity to take time out from the demands of everyday life, promoting deep relaxation and helping to restore a sense of calm. Clients often report feeling more relaxed, refreshed, and better able to cope with the physical and emotional challenges of daily life following treatment.
Every session begins with a consultation to discuss your individual needs and goals, allowing treatments to be tailored specifically to you. Whether you are seeking support for stress management, relaxation, improved wellbeing, or simply some dedicated self-care time, reflexology offers a holistic approach that focuses on the person as a whole.
It is usually safe to have Reflexology alongside conventional medicine, but if you are currently having any medical treatment please speak to your GP before booking an appointment.

Reflexology is a complementary therapy that may help support wellbeing in people experiencing stress, anxiety, sleep disturbances, hormonal changes, digestive discomfort, and pain. Many clients find reflexology deeply relaxing and beneficial for their overall sense of wellbeing.
Reflexology should be used alongside, and not as a replacement for, conventional medical care or advice from your healthcare professional.
Every client is unique, so treatment recommendations are tailored to your individual needs and wellbeing goals. Some people benefit from weekly sessions, particularly when beginning treatment, while others prefer appointments every few weeks or monthly maintenance sessions.
Following your initial consultation, I will recommend a personalised treatment plan designed to support your wellbeing and achieve the best possible outcomes.
Reflexology involves applying controlled pressure to specific reflex points on the feet. The pressure can be adjusted to suit your comfort level and should never be painful.
Some areas may feel more sensitive than others, but most clients find the treatment deeply calming and relaxing, even those who consider themselves ticklish or have sensitive feet.
No. Reflexologists do not diagnose, prescribe, or cure medical conditions. During a treatment, certain reflex points may feel more sensitive or require additional attention. While reflexology theory suggests these areas may reflect imbalance within the body, this should not be interpreted as a medical diagnosis.
Your treatment will always be tailored to the information provided during your consultation, ensuring your safety, comfort, and wellbeing remain the priority. Some medical conditions may require GP or specialist approval before treatment. If you have complex health needs or are unsure whether reflexology is suitable for you, please get in touch to discuss your individual circumstances.
For a reflexology treatment, only your feet or hands need to be uncovered. Comfortable clothing is recommended, and foot treatments are carried out in a reclining chair to help you fully relax.
At your first appointment, we will begin with a confidential health consultation to ensure the treatment is tailored to your needs. A vegan therapy balm will be applied to your feet or hands before specialised reflexology techniques are used to work specific reflex points.
Blankets and eye masks are available should you wish to enhance your relaxation. Please inform me of any allergies, sensitivities, or health concerns before your treatment.
After a reflexology treatment, most people feel deeply relaxed and at ease. Many clients report improved sleep and a lasting sense of calm and wellbeing.
Occasionally, some people may experience temporary responses such as tiredness, mild headaches, increased urination, heightened emotions, or changes in sleep patterns. These responses are usually short-lived and settle within 24 hours.
To support your wellbeing after treatment, it is recommended that you stay well hydrated, avoid excessive alcohol consumption, and allow yourself time to rest where possible for the remainder of the day.
